Passion is a common explanation for achievement. When I think of the leadership process, passion is what drives the leader during the stretch phase. Staying with something through all the ups and downs of leading requires some kind of trait that is often referred to as passion. Scott Dinsmore and Cassidy Williams both referred to passion as integral to each of their journeys.
